Villacana is ideally situated on the Costa del Sol near Puerto Banus (10 kms), the Jewel of the Costa del Sol and the whole of the Mediterranean. Puerto Banus holds a special charm for the visitor contrasting the sea, the mountains, the village and a cosmopolitan town of fishermen and golfers. Fine sandy beaches stretch for 30km. In Puerto Banus port you will find fishermen with their nets and in the marina luxury yachts. Puerto Banus old town has the famous marina quayside, a great meeting place to take a coffee and people watch. Entertainment and leisure are high on the list with; casino's, superb restaurants of every nationality, cinemas, shopping centers, numerous golf courses, in fact, every sporting facility available, and in the skiing season you are within easy reach of the mountains of the Sierra Nevada. Within a short drive is Marbella (20kms), the most luxurious and international resort on the Costa del Sol, Estapona (10 kms), a modern resort with its own old town village, San Pedro (7 kms), with a popular market, and Cancellada (5 mins walk), the local village for an evening promenade with three recommended restuarants, and then Malaga, or Gibraltar, the international airports, both a 40 minute drive.
